 SCOUTING FOR SUCCESS
by Donnie Key
It's that time of year again. The kids have
returned I to school and the days are getting
shorter. To the avid hunter, that can only mean
one thing; hunting season is just around the
corner! A little time in the field now will
prove invaluable come opening day or later in
the season when the rut kicks in. Remember that
old bumper sticker- "It's midnight, do you know
where your kids are?" Well, it's late summer. Do
you know where your deer are? |

QUALITY ARCHERY DESIGNS - ULTRA REST
by TS Staff
Unlike other rests that drop-away because of inertia, or vibration, the ULTRA REST relies on the velocity of the forward movement, via the Timing
Cord attached to the bows downward buss cable,
to initiate the launcher to drop. VDT assures
that the ULTRA-REST remains in the cocked
position even on a slow let down and will only
drop-away if the bow is fired. |

FRESHWATER: Shallow Crankin'
by Bert Deener

shallow diving crankbait. The lure looks so
inviting that no active bass and most inactive
bass can resist its appeal. Patrick Pierce,
B.A.S.S. and FLW touring pro from Jacksonville,
Florida, uses shallow cranks as one of his
primary tools to bring quality sacks to the
scales, especially during the fall. |
